PENCIL

This project reimagines the pencil as more than just a writing tool—it becomes a silent recorder of emotions. The physical changes it undergoes, whether bitten, snapped, or excessively sharpened, serve as traces of anxiety, frustration, or deep thought. Through a photographic series, I aim to explore the relationship between people and pencils, using their altered forms as a metaphor for emotional expression and subconscious habits. By capturing the pencil’s transformation, this project highlights how emotions subtly manifest in the everyday objects we interact with.
