MEASUREMENT BEYOND TOOLS
This zine explores measurement through the lens of prison, inspired by my interview with Yuen Hui. Instead of tools or buildings, measurement in prison is about confined space and the passing of time—every inch accounted for, every moment structured. This perspective made me reflect on how we measure our own lives, often feeling confined by time, societal expectations, and personal limitations. In prison, measurement is a way to navigate existence, stretching space and time for purpose and hope. This insight reshaped my understanding, offering a deeper, more introspective approach to the concept of measurement.
